Sean has spent his whole career in Sales & Marketing. His career has developed from being a salesman in the late 80’s to heading up national sales teams for some very large house-hold FTSE 100 companies such as United Artists (now known as Virgin Media), AVAYA, BT, EE and SAGE. Sean has rolled out a National sales franchise (still in place today – the BT Local Business Network), inherited sales teams and built high-performing teams from the ground up.
His career has evolved around either managing direct sales teams or reseller and partner channels, coaching and assisting them to grow their businesses. Its safe to say Sean has achieved a great deal in the sales environment and learnt even more along the way. Added to this, Sean is now onto developing his third business having previously been a partner in a recruitment company and started and sold a vending machine business.
Understanding the sales and buying framework has been at the centre of Sean’s whole career and he has probably experienced most things related to the subject. Having assembled, coached, lead, motivated and many other aspects of leading sales teams, Sean now dedicates his time to supporting, developing and guiding SME business owners towards improving performance from their sales functions. Sean is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and a registered provider for the North East Business Support Fund as well as a networker and connector of people.
