I originally went and did a Sport Science BSc (Hons) at the University of Edinburgh and then an MSc in Strength & Conditioning at the University of East London before moving into the therapy world. I found it far more rewarding to help people with problems or pain than training individuals.
Since going self employed 5 ½ years ago I have taken numerous courses which are challenging the way that conventional therapeutic interventions work (I.e strengthen it, or crack it). These interventions work on ‘reprogramming’ the brain and therefore the body to move it away from the dysfunctional adaptations that it has created for itself.
I am continually broadening my understanding of the functionally applied way that the brain and body interact and the changes that you can make through someone’s system when you find the root cause. I don’t consider myself to have a job as I absolutely love what I do.
Having relocated to the NE in Spring 2016 I am in the process of building my new business and reaching out to individuals and companies that may value my services.
